Meghan's xray this morning showed a small leak in the lung so they are putting her back on suction and keeping the chest tube in an extra day. Please pray that the leak will resolve on its own. Meghan is also feeling more pain today since they are turning down the morphine pump and slowly switching her over to oral pain meds. She is a little apprehensive about losing the epidural pain relief (especially after 2 different doctors each separately referred to thoracotomy surgery as "the most painful surgery to recover from"). Please continue to pray for her recovery and for good pain management. Also for continued patience with being here longer than we wanted and with waiting for the pathology results (hopefully tomorrow). We so appreciate all the prayers and support we have received this far and thank the Lord for blessing us with such a great support system around us. Meghan is ok with visitors today :)
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace,
that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:16
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.
It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where Jesus,
who went before us, has entered on our behalf. Hebrews 6:19-20
